Herestal Medieval Pixel Font

Herestal is a font in which tight and angular letters meet ornamental serifs and elongated ascenders and descenders. Inspired by the relative rigidity and narrowness of the merovingian script, Herestal evokes medieval monasticism and should suit designs that need a touch of the middle ages.

Usage tips

To avoid some kinds of bluriness when used on Photoshop or other software, make sure to:

• Set font size to a multiple of 42px 
• Turn off anti-aliasing
• Set kerning mode to metric
• Set tracking to zero
